The winter months brings around a whole load of new album releases to look forward to, so I thought I’d write about a few albums that I am excited about which are coming out over the next few months.
First up, Kings of Leon’s new album, which is out on 18th October. It’s called ‘Come Around Sundown’ and it genuinely looks amazing. In my books Kings of Leon can do no wrong, I love every single album that they have put out. Their last album was really amazing but now they are supposedly heading back to the sound of album’s such as their second ‘Aha Shake Heartbreak’. The first single to be taken from the album is entitled ‘Radioactive’ and it’s a true sing a long classic complete with a choir. I can’t wait for this album and to see them in December.
Next, also out tomorrow, is Bring Me The Horizon’s third album called ‘There Is A Hell, Believe Me I’ve Seen It. There Is A Heaven, Let’s Keep It A Secret’. Their last album showed their critics that they really are a band that are serious contenders in the music scene. Songs I’ve heard so far from the album include ‘It Never Ends’ and ‘Fuck’ featuring guest vocals from Josh Franceschi of YouMeAtSix. The band have decided to keep with their trademark heavy songs and screaming vocals but have added orchastras, choirs and synth into the mix. The band have had amazing reviews so far from the album so it should be a good release for the winter.
Set for release on 22nd November this year is the long awaited follow up to ‘The Black Parade’ for My Chemical Romance. The album is called ‘Danger Days: The True Lives Of The Fabulous Killjoys’, first single to be taken from the album is called ‘Na Na Na’. Now I haven’t actually listened to the new song yet but I have been a big fan of MCR for years so I’m intrigued about this new album to see the direction that they have taken etc.
