saturday mash up #5

This week’s Saturday mash up is a bit of a round-up of Christmas, some stuff from before Christmas and then presents and the like from Christmas Day and after. I hope you all had a good Christmas and I wish you all a Happy New Year, a brilliant 2013 and a massive thank you from me for reading this blog!

Total Life Forever by Foals vinyl.

Michael and Yang Bag.

Marc Jacobs Dot and Daisy perfumes.

There was also: books, DVD’s, CD, a Great Gatsby notebook, lots of whiskey and other bits and pieces from family and friends. I was truly spoilt this year, none of which I deserve really but it is all greatly appreciated and makes me appreciate my life and family and friends a lot more than I do.

Shirt from TK Maxx, Skirt from Matalan.

My Christmas Day outfit. After me and mum decided to not really bother as much with Christmas this year, I didn’t see much point in getting too dressed up but Christmas would be weird without making at least a little bit of an effort.

Jeans from Urban Outfitters.

My new Maccabees t-shirt that I bought when I saw them supporting Black Keys in Manchester a couple of weeks ago.

Just a quick little note about Restless on BBC1, it was split over two episodes, one on Thursday night and one on Friday night. Basically it’s about a woman in the 70’s who was a spy in the 40’s when the war was on and it tells you about her life and her spying etc. That’s not the best synopsis ever but I don’t want to give too much away. It’s a brilliant story and wonderfully acted and spies in the second world war is a story that is completely up my street. I completely enjoyed it and I would recommend giving it a watch on iPlayer over the next week or so.

Also, my Best of 2012 blog post will be up on here tomorrow with a playlist of my favourite tracks of the year too and my round up of my year post will be up in the next couple of days.
