Above is my new tattoo that I got done last weekend, it’s quite big on my left thigh and only cost £100 for well over an hour’s worth of work which I think is a brilliant price. I went to Five Magics Tattoo again in Sheffield City Centre on Division Street, like I said last time when I got my rose and pocketwatch done on my arm they really are brilliant! Amazing tattooists at very reasonable prices, I’ve never had any problems from them and I would recommend them to anyone in Sheffield wanting a tattoo.
Red Patterned Trousers from Topshop, £15
The other day, I headed out to get a few bits and pieces and inevitably while I was out I thought I’d pop in Topshop and have a quick look. They still had a small sale section in the store in Crystal Peaks in Sheffield so I had a look through and as soon as I saw these trousers I knew they had to be mine. They’re so bright and patterned but completely wearable. A nice fit with the slouchy material and perfect for a smart or casual look with a tee and some Vans or a smart shirt, blazer and brogues. This is £15 well spent I think and yet again I didn’t manage to make it out of Topshop without buying something.
Black Skull Pumps from Tesco, £12
After clearing out and sorting through my shoes, a huge task for someone with as many shoes as me, I realised I needed some new basic shoes that I can wear whenever and would go with pretty much every outfit. These are perfect, the right style, flats and black, they’ll go with everything and not hurt my feet at all but the little skulls on them add a little edge to the otherwise quite basic design. I think they look really cool and I think they look a lot more expensive, more like a £40 shoe from Office than a £12 shoe from a supermarket. Proof that supermarket clothing has improved so much recently and that there is no shame to be had in buying our clothes or accessories at the same time as doing the weekly shop.
From Top Left – ‘Bankrupt’ by Pheonix, ‘The Dance’ by Fleetwood Mac, ‘All Our Favourite Stories’ by Dog Is Dead, ‘Settle’ by Disclosure
I’m one of those people that says they are just popping into HMV for a look and ends up leaving with a pile of new purchases and yesterday it happened again. Disclosure and Pheonix were in the ‘Two for £15’ offer and as I wanted them both I couldn’t resist and the other two were in the clearence baskets for £2.99 each which is a bargain price for these, not that I need any more CD’s in my huge collection but when they are this cheap and this good I can’t resist leaving the store with yet another big pile of albums.
