ootd: scatty cats – drop dead clothing

Playsuit – Scatty Cats by Drop Dead Clothing / Necklace – Boutique in Rome / Bag – Vintage / Stud Bracelet – Topshop / Watch – Casio

Not overly sure why the first photo has come out so blurry but oh well it shades the posing face I guess which can only be a good thing. Not so many photos for this one as it was last minute photo taking and in artificial light which is not brilliant but this is what happens when Autumn and dark nights roll around.

I wore this to my friend’s leaving drinks night a few weekends ago then I headed to see the wonderful La Bete Blooms who played on a really good set at The Great Gatsby in Sheffield, I’ve featured as a ‘track of the week’ before and they will obviously be featured many more times on here that is for sure. After that I went back to meet my friends and a few quiet drinks turned into a night in Corp and rolling home around 3am. We had some amazing vodka shots in The Wick At Both Ends too, vodka with a slice of lemon and some brown sugar and they set it on fire before you drink it, a bit like a tequila slammer, have the sugar, then the shot then the lemon. Genuinely amazing, Sheffielders if you have not had one of those before then go and get one!

The playsuit I’ve had for a couple of years now and I absolutely love it. I don’t really wear it as often as I would like because although it looks perfect for summer it is way too short to wear without tights. I completely love the fit of the playsuit, it genuinely fits me so perfectly and I always feel ridiculously comfortable while wearing it. The design is a Drop Dead classic and one of my favourites. It’s a very different looking playsuit to a lot of the others out there and that is something I really like about it. My necklace and bag I got while I was in Rome last year and with the main part of this outfit being so statement teaming it with basic but interesting accessories is the way to go. I’ve mentioned Drop Dead Clothing on this blog a hell of a lot over the years, what do you guys think of them and their ranges for each season?
