Jumper by Obey Clothing / Striped Dress from H&M / Bag – Primark / Biker Boots – River Island / Watch – Casio
The amount I can not wait to move into our new house is ridiculous right now and when we move I may finally have a better place to take outfit photos. Shoddy does not even cut it when compared to other bloggers outfit pictures but alas this is my life.
This outfit I wore on a little shopping trip before I went to London to pick up last minute bits and pieces. I love the striped dress and it was perfect in summer with or without tights and on it’s own it is interesting enough with the black and white stripes but now the weather is getting colder I thought I’d try and style it for colder climes so I could still get some wear out of it in the Autumn/Winter months. Bright primary colours mixed with monochrome pieces is something I really love and I really like the statement effect of it here. Bright red, in your face yellow or cobalt blue against black and white just always looks so good whether you go all out like I have or with just primary colour accessories against a plain black and white outfit. The jumper I bought last year when I was in America. It was stupidly hot the entire time I was there yet being true to my jumper loving roots I bought a jumper back with me. It’s lightweight and goes with pretty much anything but it keeps you really toasty which I love, it was only around £15 so it was a brilliant buy for the amount of times I’ve worn it already.
The boots I’d only just bought at this point so I was giving them a test run to see if they hurt my feet or not. I have such an issue with shoes hurting my feet all the time to the point where I just give up and however much I love them I end up shoving them at the back of my wardrobe or getting rid but I needn’t have worried with these. They are a perfect fit, if anything a little too big which is a luxury I never usually get. I’m a size 8/9 in shoes so I always get 8’s in high street stores and hope they fit as they rarely cater for 9’s and these are huge for me, I could easily wear a couple of pairs of thick socks and still have room. They are insanely comfy and have a hard-wearing sole so I know these will be one of the pairs of boots I rely on and wear to death this winter.
