Shirt – Primark / Skirt – Forever 21 / Shoes – Topshop / Bag – Matalan / Necklace – EverOurs / Watch – Casio
I told you all I liked excessive amounts of pattern and in your face colour and I think this sort of proves my point. The striped shirt I bought a while ago now and absolutely love the boxy shape of it and the rolled up sleeves, it fits so easily into my wardrobe and I can wear it with most things really. Stripes are a must for everyone’s wardrobe I think and to say this is from Primark it is very good quality, a decent fit but the downside is how much the fabric creases.
Pairing the shirt with this Forever 21 floral skirt, does this count as winter florals? I’m going to call it an all year round floral because I would wear this in the height of summer as well as the cold January/February weather. It’s nice to mix patterns I think, obviously sometimes it doesn’t work out but with neither of the patterns being too bright or garish then I think they do work well together and almost compliment each other. The olive tights are from H&M [my new favourite place for tights] and have pretty much been attached to my legs everyday since I bought them I just love the colour so much.
Teamed with my raspberry bag from Matalan and the awesome silver shoes from Topshop, both adding a much needed splash of brightness and colour to the outfit that would otherwise be on the darker side. I pulled out one of my favourite spike necklaces from EverOurs as well that I’ve not worn in a while but I always think looks really good with shirts with collars rather than just on it’s own, I’m not sure why maybe that’s just me. Anyway I’m mumbling on now so I’m going to wrap this up. I hope you all have a good weekend, I’ll be spending it watching the Six Nations and I should be back with another outfit next Saturday.
