Skirt – Vintage C&A via Kilo Shop in Paris / Top – Forever 21 / Boots – Office / Bag – Zara / Necklace – Boutique in Rome / Bracelet – Topshop / Socks – George at Asda
Firstly, I would like to apologise for the sheer paleness of my legs. Seriously they are currently sporting a slight tan that I got in Paris as well not that you would be able to tell. Let’s just hope for a really nice summer so I can get some form of colour on my legs bar ghostly white.
Moving onto the outfit, the skirt I picked up while I was on Paris, it was a touch on the expensive side for vintage but I loved it way too much not to buy it plus it was my birthday the day I saw it so I was obviously allowed to buy whatever I wanted. Since I’ve got back from Paris I’ve been dying to style it up with florals, basics, prints etc. This was the first opportunity I had after being ill for the week or so since I got back. If I’m honest the shirt was a last minute pick and I knew what I really wanted to pair the skirt with was the boots. I love these boots but I just don’t wear them enough, surprisingly for their mustard colour though they go with a lot of things in my wardrobe. I think the deep mustard colour compliments the pale mint green really well whether worn like this without tights and frilly socks peeking out of the boots or with a pair of black or maroon tights. The shirt is quite basic and a staple of my nights out wardrobe when I really don’t know what else to wear, simple with the black colour and boxy shape but the gold studs on the front just add a bit of subtle interest to it.
The bag was one of my birthday presents from my mum, as soon as I saw this on Zara’s site I knew it had to be mine so my mum treat me to it as a birthday present. I’ve used it a lot already in Paris and back home, it fits quite a lot in even though it’s quite small, there is loads of pockets and compartments to make all my stuff a bit more organised. I love the pastel blue colour of it and square structure, it’s so well made and I know it’s a bag I’m going to rely on a lot not just this season but for many Spring/Summer seasons to come.
It seems I’ve fully embraced the pastel trend with this outfit, how do you feel about pastels? Will you be sporting them this Spring/Summer?
I love this outfit. Everything about it! The necklace is perfect. Errrgh. give me all your clothes!! x
