Heart Print Shirt – New Look / Ethnic Print Skirt – New Look / Pewter Wedge Sandals – Primark / Chain Necklace – H&M / Small Brown Bag – Vintage
Hey look it’s another boxy shirt and skater skirt combination! I told you it was one of my favourite clothing combinations ever and something I really can’t get enough of at the moment for sure. The skirt and shirt are brand new and recent sale purchases from New Look, I love both items separately but me and my mum both twigged instantly that they really would look very good put together. So the first opportunity I got I shot an outfit post for them and though the colours are very autumnal and not Spring/Summery at all, I don’t care because I love the outfit!
The shirt I’ve wanted for absolutely ages and I’m aware that pretty much everyone in the world owns this in some form or other but I waited for this specific boxy cut from New Look to make it into the sale and as soon as I spotted it on the sale racks for a mere £9 I knew this was going home with me. The skirt is also from New Look’s recent sale and only £8, I love the pattern on it and the rich colours that work so well together makes this a skirt that I could easily dress up with a sheer shirt and heels or dressed down with a plain shirt, tee or vest and jelly sandals [still in love with those].
Accessories wise, I wanted to keep things simple by just wearing my trusty and probably quite overworn now gold chain from H&M that just goes with absolutely everything. The brown bag I’ve had for a couple of years and is one of my most used bags as it’s such a perfect size for nights out and gigs but also fits a lot in and the deeper brown colour of it goes with so much in my wardrobe. The pewter wedges are yet another Primark footwear purchase [Primark are killing it footwear wise atm] and I absolutely adore them. They are quite high for someone who doesn’t really need extra height but they are so comfy and the fact that they are so big and clompy totally hides the fact that I’m so heavy footed and clumsy when it comes to walking.
Have you guys picked up any brilliant sale buys recently?
