Floral Shirt – New Look / Black BodyCon Skirt – H&M / Tan Sandals – Primark / Black Hat – H&M / Pastel Blue Bag – Zara / Gold Spike Necklace – EverOurs / Watch – Casio

I titled this post spring cliches because there are many going on here, pastel accessories, floral prints, sandals and the chance to wear a hat outdoors without it getting either wet or blown off your head. I like Spring it’s my favourite time of year but I do find it difficult to dress for, what with changing temperatures, changing weather etc but I feel like this outfit is a good one for the transition season and if it is raining just throw on some tights and substitute sandals for brogues, grab a leather jacket and you are good to go.

Here though, I’ve gone for full on nice, sunny Spring day look. The shirt is new and a sale purchase from New Look, I’ve worn it twice already, once with blue skinnies and once like this. It’s the perfect shirt for pairing with basics like black skirts and skinny jeans but would also work perfectly clashing with other patterns as the colours on this are more muted tones rather than brights. I love the almost teal like blue of the shirt and that was what initially drew me to it that and sleeveless shirts are one of my favourite things for the summer months, casual and perfect for hot weather but can also add smartness to an outfit if needs be. At £8, this was a total bargain and is perfectly fulfilling the pastel & floral trends of Spring/Summer.

Accessories-wise, my pastel handbag from Zara has become a staple bag for me right now as it really is the perfect size for the basics I need on a daily basis. The sandals are a new purchase from Primark, they fit perfectly and are so comfortable, they will be yet another staple of my summer wardrobe for sure. I also dug out my gold spike necklace from EverOurs to pair with this as the spike necklace always looks really good with shirts just peeking out from the collar.

What Spring trends have you guys been sporting so far this year?
