Bow Crop Top – Drop Dead Clothing / Tiger Leggings – Drop Dead Clothing / Monochrome Dogtooth Blazer – Dorothy Perkins / Dark Green Clutch – Vintage / Black Glitter Heels – George at Asda

Following on from last week’s Drop Dead daytime look, I now present to you the Drop Dead evening look I’ve created. I seriously love this outfit and I plan on wearing it on a night out/meal/gig etc as soon as a relevant time suits it. I didn’t realise until after I took the photos that this outfit looks quite 80’s and I honestly think this is the sort of thing my mum would have worn on a night out in her 20’s, I know for a fact she had a jacket like this.

As I said in my last post the crop is a nice baggy fit so really offers plenty of comfort for a night out and the leggings are super comfy and fit well so for a meal they would be good if you’ve overindulged a bit too. The blazer is one of my favourite items I own, it looks super 80’s with the oversized boxy cut and dogtooth pattern and though I bought it around 5 years ago now it’s still in fashion now fulfilling so many current trends.

I kept accessories simple as I think the outfit is quite strong and does all the talking really, the clutch I bought from a vintage store for £5 a few months ago. It’s really dark green, shiny synthetic material [perfect if you spill a drink on it] and fits everything in which is good for someone like me who still carries a lot of stuff even on a night out. The court heels I bought around Christmas time from Asda for £10 and I love that they are a basic black but the glitter just makes them that bit more interesting. I sized up with these as I’m always weary supermarket shoes won’t fit properly but I could have got away with my normal size as these are a little big.

As I said earlier I have a lot of love for this outfit and these posts has made me appreciate some items in my wardrobe that I may not class daytime or nighttime appropriate more and that a few simple accessory changes can make all the difference.

What do you think about this night time outfit? And would you like to see more of these day to night looks?
