Singer/songwriter Robbie Boyd has recently released his brand new track ‘Brave’ taken from his debut album ‘So Called Man’. After having performed on This Morning recently alongside gaining plenty of airplay and attention from the likes of 6Music, BBC Radio 2, The Times, Huffington Post and The Evening Standard, it seems like this young lad is doing all the right things with his music.
There is a quick tempoed start from the off with fast guitar strums and quick drum beats while the vocals have a wonderful harmonious quality to them where they run and dance between the other sounds throughout the verses. The choruses are much bigger giving them an edge that makes them hard to ignore and will see you dancing along to the great rhythms. Piano keys crash into the drums and cymbals while vocals soar and manage to make themselves the main feature of a track that has so many wonderful yet competing melodies featuring in it. A very good first single from the recently released LP.
