A few weeks ago the lovely people at Skype got in touch about their Ones To Watch series, a 6 part video series each featuring a different band that Skype thinks are the ones to watch in 2015.
And with their first pick, I can’t help but agree with them as they have chosen dance rock trio from Copenhagen, New Politics. The video with New Politics features exclusive tour footage of the band giving you an insight into them and just why they will be one of the 6 acts to look out for over the next 12 months.
I saw these guys supporting Panic! At The Disco last year and they certainly got the crowd going with their energetic onstage antics and catchy pop fuelled dance tunes that Scandinavian acts have mastered so well over the years. I’ve not heard much from them this year but it seems like the band have been on tour constantly supporting Fall Out Boy in Europe and then again in America on FOB’s dual headline tour with Paramore. Then it was on to their own headline tour which coincided with the release of their new single ‘Everywhere I Go (Kings and Queens)’, which should be the starting point for new releases over the next year making them definite ones to watch.

The rest of the videos for the next 5 acts will be released very soon but to find out more in the meantime you can visit the #SykpeSix website or you can follow them on Twitter – @onestowatch
