new music: Horse Party – Out of Sight

Rock meets indie meets punk trio Horse Party from Bury met at a club night before bonding over their desire to spend their lives creating music and records that they would want to listen to. Over the last year they have really built on that desire releasing plenty of singles and debut LP ‘Cover Your Eyes’ which has gained critical acclaim from all corners like Lauren Laverne at 6 Music and XFM’s John Kennedy.

Below you can check out their new single ‘Out of Sight’:

A straight up rock track with a great punky edge found in the attitude laden vocals and nonchalent feel throughout this one. The bass, drums and guitar all gently plod along through verses where vocals are delivered lethargically, the choruses see a slight quickening in pace making for a real moment where you can lose yourself in the music especially if you were to catch this song in the live setting. A really great rock track.

After such a great last year which involved playing Latitude’s Lake Stage at the invitation of Radio 1’s Huw Stephens and Radio Suffolk, it looks like 2015 is going to be onwards and upwards for this three piece. The new single is set to be released on 23rd February on limited edition 7″ vinyl as well as being available to download too. The band have also got a handful of dates for the next few months of the year in the UK too which you can check out here.
