Blossomer – Foreign Nature
Stunning atmospherics open this one where electronics low and high rise and fall while maintaining a calm vibe throughout. The chorus picks up tempo slightly with soaring backing vocals but essentially this is a very chilled out electronic indie track and something really very wonderful. Port Isla – Next In Line
I only found this band on Spotify a couple of weeks ago but since then I have listened to them a lot. Their infectious indie sound is the perfect antidote to the cold and miserable February weather we are experiencing. Harmonious vocal afflications, catchy melodies from guitar and piano and stick in your head lyrics especially in the choruses make these guys a real talent that you should be listening to this year.
