The Maccabees – Can You Give It
This is quite easily one of my favourite Maccabees tracks and after seeing them last weekend they have shot up my what I’m currently listening to playlist. I already love this band a lot and the chance to get to see them in such a small venue as Leadmill was absolutely brilliant and a great night for me. And if anything this has only made me more excited for the new album which should be released at some point this year.
Moose Blood – Boston
I’ve heard a lot about Moose Blood in recent months and decided to check them out recently and I’m really glad that I did. Their music is a great mix between rock attributes, metal afflications and more alternative indie moments. There is something for everyone in their music and it is a sound that will resonate with many I think. There debut album is really wonderful and definitely worth a listen, in my opinion it is one of the most coherent debut albums I’ve heard in a while and it is clear to see that Moose Blood are a band for everyone to look out for in 2015.
