I’ve decided today after feeling a little isolated from my own blog and writing in general that it may be time for me to take a step back and reassess.
I put a hell of a lot of pressures on myself including the pressure to post every day, which is insane because of all the other things I’m juggling in my life right now. Don’t get me wrong I love this blog but recently a lot of the posts have seemed more like chores to write and produce rather than creating something I truly love.
For that reason I’m going to give myself some freedom and room to breathe/think. I may not be blogging everyday like I am now but I think and feel that will raise the standard of my blog as the pieces I post from now on will be of a higher quality and containing things I am truly passionate about.
From now on when I blog about something it will be something I am excited about, something I want to share and something I wholeheartedly am passionate for. What I blog about now I am already passionate about but I feel like I need to be more selective in the content I write about and put out to the world, so I’ll only be blogging about the bands, artists, fashions, cultures, books and general things that interest and excite me.
This may be a slow process involving a complete change in some places but fundamentally this blog will be the same, a music, fashion and lifestyle blog aiming on bringing you the new and best things I feel like you should all know about. Right now, I just need this place that I created over 5 years ago to turn back into something and somewhere I love and feel comfortable within, I don’t want to feel scared and pressured to log on to here anymore.
Thank you all for your continued support over the years with the blog and all the followers and friends I have made through this, it blows my mind that this space has seen me have so many opportunities presented to me. Thank you and I hope you’ll all be there with me while I try to figure out exactly what I plan on doing with this space in the future, as I turn this into something I am fully proud of.
