Above is the latest single from the pop-folk outfit entitled ‘Won’t Look Back’ which is to be taken from their brand new album. Building into this one slowly and steadily with a fast paced acoustic and gentle keys, as the vocals come in the music softens, subsiding and giving the voice and lyrics room to shine. The vocals have a rich tone to them escaping into the track adding a beautiful quality to the melodies and rhythms that are created through trumpets, drums, guitars and more. It has that wonderful feel-good folk sound to it that makes this a perfect track for festivals and summer evenings spent with the best of friends.
Their latest LP is set to be released on June 15th and will be called ‘Wildfire’. It is the culmination of year’s of hard work, recording partly in a Devonshire cottage and partly in the parents house of siblings Matthew and Julia Lowe. After being a part of a Burberry advertising campaign and on the soundtrack to Ross Noble’s ‘Sit Down Tour’ as well as being played all over BBC Radio from Radio 2 to 6Music, it is interesting to see where this next release will take them. And as The 405 stated; “This is a band set for huge things”
The band will be performing across a series of major UK festival this summer which are yet to be announced and they have recently confirmed a headline tour in October starting out at Liverpool’s LEAF on 14th October and finishing up at The Bullingdon in Oxford on the 6th November, find out more about the tour here. The new single ‘Won’t Look Back’ is set to be released on 22nd June and will be available to download from all the usual outlets.
