This Week #3

Made a chocolate fudge cake last weekend / Reviewed another one of my favourite albums of 2015 this week – A Dream Outside by Gengahr / My new tattoo – Quill and Inkpot / Taken up adult colouring after my boyfriend bought me this last week

Another week gone and another list of jobs completed. After a bit of a chilled out weekend, I had a busy week tackling plenty of things on my to do list and just making the most of the good weather that has finally graced us with its appearance. Last Friday, my boyfriend had a very rare weekend off work so we made the most of it by having takeaway at his, followed by packing up his kitchen before he moves in a few days and then heading to the pub to do things normal couples do on a Friday night. In my head though we had turned into Shaun and Liz from Shaun of the Dead, but then I’m obsessed with that film so whatever. On the Saturday, we had a day with his family over at Clumber Park and then his parents house until early evening when I came home, chilled out and was in bed by half 10, rock and roll. Sunday was good, I made my list of chores to do for the week and instantly ticked off two jobs that day making for a lovely and productive weekend over all.

After a productive end to the weekend, my week started in the same vein ticking off more jobs from my to do list. While on Tuesday, I finally got the bottom part of my right arm’s sleeve finished. The sleeve is still a work in progress in terms of getting other tattoos on the top half but I’m not getting anything else done on that arm until I have ideas that I love. However, the quill and inkpot tattoo I got done this week is something I’ve wanted done since before Christmas and have only just managed to have time to fit in, I’m so happy with it though, it is beautiful and fits the space so well. I love it!

What I’ve Been Reading:

– This great article by Lauren Laverne on The Pool’s site all about social mobility, culture and more.
The Pool have been talking about why Mark Ruffalo is the thinking women’s crush this week and I can’t help but agree, I think I may have fallen slightly in love with this amazing man over the past year or so.
