Florence and The Machine – Kiss With A Fist
After watching Florence’s brilliant set at Glastonbury a couple of weekends ago and the brilliant new album being released, my love of her music and her as a person has skyrocketed again. This is one of my all time favourite tracks of her’s so it has been on repeat a hell of a lot recently and rightly so as it is an excellent track.
Beirut – No No No
I heard this track on 6Music a couple of weeks ago and I instantly knew that this was one of the best new songs I have heard lately. I’ve never really listened to Beirut before but this track may sway me to give their back catalogue a bit of a listen. The infectious backing vocals and melodies just make this such a happy and upbeat track even though the main vocal has a lethargic edge to it. It is a great track for the summer I think and I will be adding it to my summer playlist for sure.
