After a busy few months, I haven’t really had much chance to think about or experience much travel. So with that in mind I thought I’d make myself a bit of a list, something to look forward to over the next few months and places to aim for. I’ve made a list of the next 5 places I would like to visit when I next get chance to go on holiday whether it is for 2 weeks or 2 days. Taking a bit of inspiration from my Travel bucketlist post [1 & 2 & 3], this list is centered around Europe and the UK at the moment though if money were no object I’d be booking myself a round the world ticket straight away starting in New Zealand and finishing up who knows where.
But for now, the next 5 destinations I want to visit:

Scandanavia
Have I ever told you about how obsessed I am with Scandanavia. I love the place so much, it is an awe inspiring place, the beauty, nature, the big cities, the great way of life; I would move there right now if I could and I think I would be very very happy. However, for now just to visit would be enough for me and because I love the whole place so much instead of picking just one city or one country in the area, I’d ideally want to fly to Denmark, see the places there, then get a train through each country stopping off in all the awesome cities and towns. It sounds so perfect and I would love to do that so, so much. Take me to Scandanavia now please!

Dublin
I’ve been to a lot of capital cities in Europe but so far I’ve not visited this one which is so close to my shores. Getting to Dublin is super cheap and I’m not sure why I’ve still not been yet but I hope to rectify this as soon as possible. There is so much to see and do there and as we all know Irish people are some of the best people in the world. One of the main things I’d want to do there is go on the Jamesons distillery tour, whiskey tours are amazing and if you haven’t been on one before you need to change that. I think Dublin is something that could be on the cards one weekend over the Autumn/Winter or maybe next Spring but I definitely think it is somewhere I’ll be going over the next few months.
Cornwall
I love my country, it’s a beautiful place but there are so many corners of it that I haven’t yet visited that I thought it was about time I changed that. Cornwall is one of the places I would love to visit. My mum went when she was a teenager and she loved it so much and I think it is a place I would love to spend a few days. Everything looks so chilled out and picturesque down there and I really think it would be the perfect break without leaving the country. I think I’d like to go to Cornwall in Spring, Summer or maybe early Autumn so it may not be on the cards this year now but come next Spring I may just hop on a train down there for a few days, it would be lovely.
Florence
Italy is by far my favourite country in the world, it is one of those places I know I would be happy visiting every single year. I’ve already explored a few cities there, Rome, Venice and Milan and though there is still so much to see the next city I really want to visit in Italy is Florence. The city seems like one of the most beautiful places you could visit and that is saying something as all of Italy is beautiful to me. Their laidback culture, friendly people and beautiful food [Italian food is my favourite] makes it the perfect holiday destination for me.

Greece
Last year, I visited the island of Corfu so I have already been to Greece but this time I’d like to visit the mainland and explore Athens and the towns and cities there. In Corfu, though I loved it, there wasn’t all that much to do which for someone who prefers exploring holidays got a little boring towards the end of the stay. However, on the mainland there is so much to see and do and as I loved Greek history and mythology at school I think I would be totally geeking out over all the amazing, ancient things to see there. Not only that but Greece is a stunningly beautiful country, the people are wonderful and the food is just out of this world delicious and wonderful!
