Bake Off and Celebrations, the perfect Wednesday night in / My boyfriend made some delicious chips for tea this week
The end of another week jam packed with plenty of things from appointments to finishing cleaning and sorting my room and getting plenty of writing done on here. As much as I’m catching up on writing and enjoying having more time to work on the blog at the moment, I still feel a bit like I’m in an ideas block. Some ideas I’m still yet to work on for lack of knowing how exactly to write it and the rest of time I just have no idea what the hell to write about. It’s an awful time for any writer but I’m just holding out for hope that it ends soon and in the meantime, I’ll carry on working on other things and having a little more time to spend on other hobbies.
Also, this week I’ve been working on a lookback to the summer post and found my summer bucket list for this year, check it out here, and I thought now may be a good time to just have a little lookback on it. I came up with 5 things to do this summer and to say it was a stressful and busy summer, I still managed to do four of the things on the list.
I attended a festival [Y Not in Derbyshire], I read more [5 books in total], I went to the seaside [Bridlington for my boyfriend’s birthday] and I drank more water and tried out new salad recipes. I didn’t have chance to rewatch the Star Wars Trilogy over summer though which is a little disappointing, I did manage to watch one of the six though, but I still have a couple of months before the next film comes out to rewatch them all so fingers crossed that I can get them watched this Autumn.
I think after making a Summer bucket list, it was quite a good idea to put together a list of things I’d like to do during that season. I may put one together for Autumn with a few things I want to do/acheive over the next few months but it is definitely something I may use more either on the blog or personally to really focus my time and make the most of each season.
What I’ve Been Listening To:
Tame Impala – Elephant
The Blue Nile – Tinseltown In The Rain
The Maccabees – No Kind Words
In case you missed it, you can check out this week’s tracks of the week #117
What I’ve Been Reading:
– Viv Groskop rounds up what Eat Pray Love author Elizabeth Gilbert had to say recently on creativity. That we can all be and should all be creative, there are some great points in there that may influence or inspire you too.
– I’ve been getting some serious fashion inspiration for this season and checking out all the goings on over at London Fashion Week over on The Guardian’s fashion section this week. So many lovely clothes and inspiration points for my Autumn/Winter wardrobe.
