Music: Brand New Albums To Check Out Now

If you are looking for some brand new music to check out then two albums came out on Friday that are definitely worth checking out ASAP. From two very different acts, I think there will be something to please everyone here and these will be two of the better mainstream albums to come out towards the end of 2015. Read on to find out who these artists are and make sure you check their new albums out if you haven’t already.

Chvrches – Every Open Eye

After a great couple of years and plenty of success coming from their debut album, the Scottish trio are now back with their second album which again has been tipped for greatness. Described as “short, sharp and self-reliant” by The Verge, it seems the band are onto something again with this one. Though there has been some criticism aimed at this release as it has been said that it is not as urgent and much more polished than their previous effort. Whatever the outcome and whatever your opinion, I think we can all agree that this is an album to check out for ourselves and the Glasgow three piece are definitely one to keep an eye on as they continue to grow over the next few years.

Disclosure – Caracal

These two brothers have quickly become one of the biggest dance duos in the world after the huge success of their debut album ‘Settle’. Full of infectious beats, huge dance fuelled moments and plenty of great guests featuring on the release with everyone from Sam Smith and AlunaGeorge to Ed MacFarlane and Eliza Doolittle featuring on there. This next release has already been met with plenty of excitement after the release of some huge singles which has whetted everyone’s appetite. This new album will also have some great collaborations on it with Lorde, Gregory Porter, Kwabs and Sam Smith just a few highlights of those included to work with the talented pair. I think this album will see the duo go even further and become even more popular. With so many good tracks to their name already, I can’t see things going anyway but upwards for them.
