Today, I’m bringing you some new music from Southampton alt-rock quartet Circle of Reason who have recently released their new single ‘Colours’ in support of their highly anticipated ‘Faith of Theory’ album which was released last Friday.
The track is an emotional ballad from the off with soaring harmonious vocals, flowing melodies and chugging guitar lines. It is a well put together track with a brilliant execution from the guitars, percussion and those lilting yet gritty and rough around the edges vocals. The choruses are a fast paced affair full of build up’s and huge moments alongside a great rhythm underpinning everything. This is a great single full of promise for a spectacular album and bound to not only be a fan favourite live but to see these guys reach more and more new audiences.
After spending the majority of 2015 writing and recording, the four piece are back with a new album as well as two very well received singles which have gained airplay from the like of Scuzz TV and many more. To complement all of this, the guys are heading out on tour this month for a handful of show in the South of England.
Having spent years building up a solid fanbase through touring, supporting the like of Marmozets, Feed The Rhino and Neck Deep and cementing their names on the UK gig scene, the band are looking at this tour as the one to really put these guys in the running for one of the most exciting bands around.
The Faith Tour starts on 8th June in Bath at Moles before taking in Portsmouth, Folkestone and Kettering then finishing up in Northampton on 12th June at The Black Prince. Find out more about the gigs and where to get tickets on the band’s Facebook page.
