Metronomy – Old Skool
The latest track from Metronomy is an absolute great one. I’ve never really been a fan of the band before now and kind of ignored their music but this single is utterly brilliant and catchy enough to peak my interest. I think this is the track that will see me delving a little bit further into their back catalogue. It will also be the track that is most definitely featured heavily on my summer playlist this year, make sure it is featured on your’s too!
Everything Everything – No Reptiles
After hearing a lot of ‘Distant Past’ around again at the moment, I thought it was about time I revisited Everything Everything’s most recent album again after a couple of months away from it. Much like the album before, it is one that I absolutely love and I think they really are an interesting band doing some great and different things with the music they are creating, this single is no exception. Sure to be a mainstay of the festival circuit this year, I think summer will be a time of hearing a lot more from these guys again.
