After the storming success of The Bath Hotel’s Record Store Day event earlier this year, we here at Mixtape Couture were looking forward to the possibility of the same again next year.
Well the lovely guys over at The Bath have delivered with a Vinyl Extravaganza taking place this week on Saturday 10th September!
This event follows in much the same vein as the last, and though it won’t be Record Store Day this time, it is still set to be a good one.
The Bath are teaming up with the guys over at Sheffield’s finest record store, Record Collector, for a pop up store in the snug. There will even be a little turntable in there so you can listen to your purchases there and then!

In the main room will be Emilio Arciello with a vinyl only DJ set until 6pm. This will be followed by live music from Dru Blues, Reflecktor and Dirty Water from 7pm until late.
If you are looking to make a day of the shopping and the music then there will be street food outside from Eats and Beats. They’ll be providing some tasty food, usually something for the meat eaters and the veggies, so head down to check out there awesome fare.
Plus, as usual from a pub of The Bath’s calibre, there will be top notch beer on tap, gin a-plenty behind the bar and a good selection of other alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
With so much on offer, you’d be silly to miss the chance to browse the pop up for some new records or chill out with a beer, some street food and checking out the DJ set and live music on offer. The event starts at midday at The Bath Hotel and runs until late. I’ll see you there!
