Welcome to Mixtape Couture. A culture and lifestyle blog.
I’m Lottie, the girl behind the blog, who lives, works and blog in Sheffield. In 2012, I graduated from Sheffield Hallam University with a degree in Journalism. Currently, I am a blogger, freelance writer and Digital Marketing Executive for a Sheffield company.
I started this blog back in 2009 as a bit of a diary and over time it has turned into a lifestyle and culture blog. At it’s very basic level, this is a perfect mix of all my favourite things as well as what is happening in my life as a modern day 20-something.
I focus on sharing my love of my home city, Sheffield. I was born and raised in the city and I’m proud of the heritage of the place from the music scene to the great food outlets on offer, the wonderful pubs and venues in the city, the constant arrival of new and great cultural experiences from exhibitions to films and the importance of this big melting pot of creativity.
