The Throwback Tuesday monthly post is a opportunity for me to revisit the good, cheesy, forgotten or essential parts of music, film, tv and books from my childhood, the past few years or the generations/eras/works of art that have influenced my life in some way.
This month, I have decided to feature not only one of my favourite bands but one of my favourite tracks of their’s and one that I have been listening to a hell of a lot lately. Honestly, it is getting to obsession point with this track now and though I’ve featured it in a tracks of the week post and monthly playlist already I still had to feature it again because I can really. So this month, I will be featuring the wonderful ‘Little Lies’ by Fleetwood Mac.

The band who have been much coverted over the past few years, by many new acts revelling in their sound, have come back into popularity and been made an addition to countless festival bills with some headline slots not years after they first become popular. The particular track is quite heartbreaking through its lyrical content but its flowing melodies and calming rhythms really makes for a track that is catchy and pop fuelled without being in your face retaining its more atmospheric indie side.
It is by far one of my favourite tracks of their’s and I think it always will be, I can’t help but sing along when it is on the radio or I’m playing it on Spotify. I bet that it will also quickly become a favourite of yours too if it isn’t already. Check it out below:
