We Are Scientists – Dumb Luck
As a long time lover of We Are Scientists, it was only a matter of time until these guys featured on my tracks of the week posts again. They provided the soundtrack last weekend through the mountain of chores I had to get through and they were the most perfect of soundtracks. From their latest release going back to their very first, every single track I absolutely adore. I could have picked any WAS track but I went for this one as it is probably in my top 10 (at least) tracks by them and I just love it.
School of Seven Bells – Open Your Eyes
This track has been played a lot of 6Music lately and it is so absolutely beautiful that I really did have to feature it on here. I can’t tell you how stunning yet fragile this track is, it’s completely heartbreaking and breathtaking all at once. Please whatever you are doing just stop and have a listen to this track, you really won’t regret it.
